What program is that? And yes, I'm also noticing better (i.e. less accelerated) mouse movement in Lion (using Magic Mouse).

Out of curiosity, why did you use a third party charger? I've done it a few times with other devices, but it's always been with quality, branded chargers (like charging my Kindle with my BlackBerry's charger), but I wouldn't dare do that with my iPad unless I knew it was top quality since so many of those third party chargers, like third party batteries, can damage your equipment.
By the way, I think using a third party charger may have voided your warranty anyway. At least on some devices I'm pretty sure it does.
Honestly I was using the same charger...just was an extension, so the tip was different...

Looking for a video surveillance DVR system manufacturer that makes a product which does not require IE to setup or manage. I run OS X and Linux Mint at home. I searched for previous threads but only found 6 year old topics.
Would like decent day/night video & picture surveillance
Ability to store data off site
Possibly remote viewing on the iPhone
This is for monitoring around the outside of the house. Trying to catch a peeping tom and also have proof if someone breaks in to the house or cars.

Unfortunately i would go ahead and say to see if you could get a new macbook. Of course you should bring it to an Apple store and see how much it would be to get them to fix it... if it isn't too much I'd get it fixed but... the MBPs are really nice.

If AT&T knows who is illegally tethering, why do they allow it to happen? Why not simply prevent tethering packets from reaching the Internet?
AT&T obviously can differentiate between data to the YouTube app and data through MyWi because they meter legal tethering to 4Gb limit.
Is it just a big tease? And why not simply back charge everyone who used MyWi/PdaNet in the past?

I have been trying out several Cydia apps on a Touch 4. Hmm.
I Always use sbsettings, no problems. But when I add others they all have glitches. I've slowly backed out of other apps I added due to conflicts.
Barrel seems to work okay.
lockinfo never keeps settings I set and is glitchy.
SbRotate is cool but seems to conflict with other apps.
I even removed the all in one Springtomize cause of all the conflicts and I couldnt isolate them.
I loaded a tv type off app and it stopped working.
I love what many developers are doing but not satisfied with implementation. If you have lots of hours you can probably isolate these issues. I'm not saying these apps are necessarily glitchy, but on my touch, 4.3.1 they are not glitch free.

Have been meaning to convert the video for ages and I finally did it last night - Sorenson Video 3 codec works fine. Thanks to everyone for their help.

You should be able to buy heatsink gel at any serious computer store (not best buy, et al). Please be forewarned, I've never personally done that, but I know that stuff is out there.

on the '11 models... would bootcamp be good on a 13'' (either model)? and how much of a difference would there be in a 15'' (low end)?

Bootcamp isn't virtualisation, aslong as the drivers are good it should be the same/very similiar to a equal spec PC.

Can anyone give me a list of all the song names on the ipods in the apple music store? Also can anybody give my the name of the song that is on an ipod at the store. Its name has the word voodoo in it and it is electronic. I want to know the band and the song name!!

Then the song is called Voodoo People by Prodigy, pretty old but still a classic Techno/progressive track. Thats the genre Techno/progressive. Electronica is like something like 808 State (the band) did in the mid-80s. Although Electronica goes back to say late 60's (speakn spell kind of sounds).
However Prodigy has got some seriously amazing tracks, definitely not one of those 1 hit wonders like Rico Suave, lol.

I should mail him back and remind him to tuck his period inside the parentheses.
Periods shouldn`t be inside of paranthese (unless it`s a compete sentence), so you might not want to do that...
